This design means a lot to me. I had heard the phrase thrown around over the years, but it never resonated with me until I was one of those girls, have to prioritize life over saddle time. Struggling myself, I started seeing many riders from all different disciplines selling their saddles... to turn around and post an ISO to their exact saddle they'd previously sold.

I put that in my brain for a while, thought about it in the quiet. What I came up with is this:
In your life, there will be struggle.
There will be times you want to give up, give in.
People will disappoint you and let you down.
You may change your entire life more times than you can count.
Remaining true to your fire, whatever it may be, will light your path.
Losing jobs, friends, livestock is inevitable.
Keep your eyes on the prize.
Remember who you are, remember what brought you here.
I realized this phrase I'd been pondering, had less to do with a saddle than I'd thought.
